We Farm Energy

Bioenergy Project Development

We partner with farmers, farmer groups, landholders and holders of waste to energy and bioenergy conversion technology to design and develop  waste to energy and bioenergy projects in rural areas of Australia.

We specialise in projects that utilise gasification, pyrolysis and anaerobic digestion technology to treat a wide range of waste streams.

Our business model is based on a co-operative structure where stakeholders co-invest to own and manage bioenergy stations, ensuring that benefits remain in local communities.

Bioenergy Research and Communication

We are working with farmers and grower groups to investigate the integration of bioenergy and biochar into Western Australia farming systems. We are really keen to share our knowledge and to facilitate the uptake of bioenergy technologies through testing, demonstration and communication.  For more information visit our Building Biochar Capacity pages.

Carbon Offset Development

Energy Farmers also works with land holders, grower groups, organisations and individuals involved in the land sector on the Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI) and can help you develop carbon offset projects under the scheme. Visit our Carbon Farming pages for more information.
